Edward H. WILEY moved his post office news depot the first of the week from the post office to the Timby building
one-half block north of the northeast corner of the square, formerly occupied by the SIMPSON millinery store. The
increasing business of the post office demanded more room and additional equipment and this necessitated the removal
of the newsstand.
Officers of the Mount Ayr Ministerial Association recently elected for six months period are: President, J.W. BIRNLEY;
Vice-President, L.C. SWAN; secretary-treasurer, W.E. DARROW.
Warren S. WRIGHT, of Delphos, began his work as leader of the Boy Scouts last Friday evening.
High School Notes: -- A ladies glee club has been organized under the management of the music teacher, Miss
HART. Members are: Marle STEPHENSON, Grace DARROW, Gladys THOMPSON, Reba ROBERTS, Minnie STROBEL, Margaret SPURRIER,
Nellie CHANCE, Elva HOOVER, Ava WALLACE, Alta KIRBY, Caryle WILLIAMS, Stella WRIGHT, Georgia REGER and Portia PARKER.
