RETOLD OLD NEWS

Mount Ayr Record-News
Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa
Thursday, June 06, 1991

by Chanse Hall, Mount Ayr Record-News

David Arthur Allen, a former Mount Ayr resident, now of Colorado Springs, CO., has earned a master's degree in business administration in marketing from the University of Colorado.

Mount Ayr Community school district received a MacIntosh Classic computer and four Imagewriter printers as part of the Hy-Vee Food Store's Apple in the Schools program.

Despite setting two new school records, the Mount Ayr boys track contingent came away somewhat disappointed from the Class 2A track meet held Friday and Saturday in Des Moines. The two records came in the 4x800 and the 3,200 meter run.
