Chet ROED retires at the end of the 1990 school year to spend more time in his wood shop.
The Mount Ayr girls basketball team jumped to a quick start and never looked back as they cruised to a 72-44 win over Diagonal on November 27.
The Mount Ayr wrestling team won the opening match of the season with a 44-25 victory over Corning. The Raiders then were downed by Bedford 38-29 in another leg of the double-dual held at Bedford.
