Mount Ayr Community High School's jazz band will compete in the 1990 Iowa Jazz Championships Thursday, April 12, in Des Moines, as one of 16
bands in the Class 2A division. SOme 75 Iowa high school jazz bands from five divisions will take part in the event, the largest state champiohsip that
simultaneously includes both boys and girls. Some 1,500 students will be part of the event sponsored by the Principal Financial Group of Des Moines.
