Two Ringgold county students were among students who received their master's degrees following the conclusion of summer classes at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO recently. Mildred McMAHILL BURDETTE of Diagonal and Marion BENNETT ENGLAND of Tingley each received master's of science in education degrees.

Leann KEENAN of Maloy was staff assistant for the 1980 "Tower," Northwest Missouri State University's student yearbook, which receved an All-American and Medalist ratings in the national competition this summer. The medalist award comes from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association sponsored by Columbia University in New York. Judges from the Associatied Collegiate Press gave the 1980 "Tower" an All-American rating, its highest designation.
