Bonnie Kae, daughter of Mrs. June Miller of Mount Ayr, received a bachelor of arts degree at the 1965-66 commencement exercises held May 30, on the campus of Graceland college, Lamoni. She majored in elementary education.

Randy Petersohn, 17, suffered a fractured ankle Monday afternoon while repairing an elevator on the farm of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Petersohn of Tingley.

Ringgold county took a big step forward Friday in its quest for new industry. 206 women in the county visited the Ringgold county courthouse to fill out applications for jobs in the prospective cap factory.

Karen Rae Kimball was named valedictorian of the 1966 senior class of Oakland high school, Oakland, Iowa. Karen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Kimball, former residents of Mount Ayr.
