Ringgold Mutual Insurance Association of Mount Ayr was honored recently for contributing to Iowa's economy for more than
100 years at the 2002 Century Business of Iowa reception at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines. Attending the presentation
were Sheila and Robert R. SHAFER, secretary and manager of the association.
Diane ZOLLMAN of Benton won $1,500 playing Cash Flurries, an instant/scratch game, stated the Iowa Lottery Commission in
a news release December 24. ZOLLMAN purchased the ticket at Lynn's Texaco in Mount Ayr and claimed the winning prize
on December 23.
