Mount Ayr had visitors from its namesake in Scotland-Ayr, Scotland recently. Bobby and Lillian McClymont of Ayr, their son Jim of Toronto, Ontario, and Bobby's sister Joan Torrence of Toronto, Ontario, spent a few days with Dr. BHAL and Dr. Hema PATEL in Mount Ayr.

Ringgold County Farm Bureau has reached its 1990 membership goal. John ALLEN of rural Mount Ayr, county membership campaign manager, reports the county has 726 members, including 70 new members for 1990.

Rev. Father Thomas J. COENEN has assumed his position as Roman Catholic Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Maloy and St. Joseph's Parish in Mount Ayr.
