Students of the Mount Ayr Community high school drafting class are helping develop the plans for the interior of the Princess Theatre project.

A Ringgold county resident was the state winner in the sixth grade division of the Daughters of the American Revolution history essay contest this year. Laura Shervheim, daughter of Jan and Melissa Shervheim of Redding was honored at the young luncheon on April 29.
