The daughter-in-law of a Mount Ayr woman will be inducted as the 82nd president of the American Institute of Architects in a ceremony in Washington, D.C. Friday, December 9. Katherine L. SCHWENNSEN, FAIA, wife of Barry JONES, formerly of Mount Ayr, will head the American Institute of Architects as only the second woman to hold the position.
A total of seven girls and 25 boys are participating in the Mount Ayr Community high school bowling teams this year.

A baby boy to Will and Bonnie LARSON of Diagonal.
