Thirty-five boys and 35 girls were honored for their outstanding achievements during the 1959-60 club year on the occasion of the annual Ringgold County 4-H Achievement night held Friday in the high school gymnasium in Mount Ayr.

Twenty neighbors went Monday of last week in the Ellston community and picked corn for Mr. SCHAEFER, who has been convalescing from injuries received in a corn picker accident.

For the first time in the history of the county, Mount Ayr will play host to a "Mrs. America." Mrs. L. Clark (Margaret) "PRIEBE of Des Moines, the nation's choice for the title of "Mrs. America" in 1959, has been invited to speak in Mount Ayr by the Future Homemakers of American of the local high school, which enegagement she will fill on Monday, December 5, in the school gymnasium.

Open house will be held Saturday, December 3, at the Kellerton Oil Company in Kellerton to celebrate the erection of the company's new building. The long-established Phillips 66 station is owned and operated by Ora and Harry FUGATE.
