Twice the number has been summoned for examination and the plan is to complete the work in three days.

The WCTU [Women's Christian Temperance Union] will hold its second annual county reunion August 7, at Wishard Chapel. Those who will appear on the program are Mrs. Harry Berry, Mrs. Luella Tidrick, Mrs. F.A. Woods, Mrs. J.A. Falloway, Mrs. H.M. Jessup, Lois Williams, Delta Johnston, Charles Phin Bennett, Mrs. J.V. Wright, Ermal Breckenridge, Ona Shannon, Alma McDowell, Mrs. Merl DeWitt, Grace Richards and Mrs. A. Immerzell.

Announcement is made that Grant L. Hayes, who recently graduated from the law department of the State University of Iowa, has formed a partnership with the firm of Spence & Beard, which firm will hereafter be known as Spence, Beard & Hayes.

Robertson & Hughes, who had been engaged in the coal business in Mount Ayr for the past four years, sold their business last week to Seevers & Butler, immediate possion being given.
