in the ARMED SERVICES
Richard Archie PALMER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie PALMER, of Mount Ayr, was sworn into the U.S. Naval Reserve on November
4, at the Des Moines Reserve Training Center. He reports weekly for reserve training sessions at the center and will receive
further training at the Great Lakes Naval Training center in March of this year. Richard is currently employed by
the Meredith Publishing Company in Des Moines.
