OBITUARY ~ HOMER M. LYNCH June 22, 1918 - July 17, 1998
Homer M. Lynch of Boulder died Friday, July 17, 1998, in Boulder Community Hospital. He was 80.
He was born June 22, 1918, in Worth County, MO, to Eddie Lee Lynch and Milla Augusta Hull Lynch. He married Helen
Stengel in [July 16] 1946. He moved [from Redding, Iowa] to Boulder in 1946. He was a self-employed businessman, rancher and had been in the
Navy [World War II].
He was a member of the National Little Britches Rodeo Association and the High School Rodeo Association.
Survivors include his wife of Boulder; a son, Fred Lynch of Boulder; two grandchildren, Christi Healey of Lafayette and
Tina Parsons of Boulder; and two great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, twin sisters, and a brother, William Riley
Lynch [january 12, 1998] of Redding [Iowa].
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at Howe Mortuary, 2121 11th Street, Boulder.
Memorial Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 2312 14th Street, in Boulder. Interment
will be private [Mountain View Memorial Park, Boulder, Colorado]. Howe Mortuary of Boulder is in charge of arrangements.
NOTE: Helen Magdalene Stengel Lynch was born August 5, 1922 and died December 28, 2002. She was interred
at Mountain View Memorial Park beside her husband, Homer.
Frederick M. "Fred" Lynch was born in Boulder on
December 11, 1943 and died August 29, 1998, Boulder. He was interred at Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder, Colorado.
