PFC Clymer graduates from Marine boot camp
Jordan T. Clymer, PFC, graduated from the U. S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, CA on March 7.
Clymer successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 278 recruits in Training
Platoon 2113. Jordan was one of the top five recruits in the physical fitness portion of the final testing.Those making
the special trip to San Diego to attend the graduation ceremony were his parents, Randy and Marcy Gregg, his grandma
Linda Bell, his siblings Auston Hancock, Becca Gregg and Rachel Gregg, his aunt and uncle Darla and Doug Sobotka and
his two cousins, Katie and Erin Sobotka. Although not able to go to San Diego, his sister, Leah Clymer, his nephew
Jace Bryant, his brother Ryan Gregg and grandpa Gaylen Bell are very proud of him. Following his 10-day leave home,
he will be assisting his recruiter in Osceola. On April 1 he will report to Camp Pendleton in San Diego for four
weeks at Infantry Training Battalion and then 16 weeks reconnaissance School.
