CERTIFICATE of WIDOW'S PENSION WAR of 1812
Text reads, "I certify that Mary Williams, widow
of Daniel Williams who was a ___ of Captain Riggens Company Ind. Militia in the service of the United States, is
entitled, under the provisions of the act of Congress, approved February 14, 1874, to receive pay at the rate
of eight dollars per month, to commence on the fourteenth day of February, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, and to continue during, life, unless she shall
again marry, in which case the pension is not payable after the date of such marriage.
Given at the Department of the Interior, this 25th day of April, thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.
