Bud Breckenridge built The Wagon Wheel Cafe' in 1991. At that time it was known as Breck's Cafe' and was mainly a sandwich and ice cream shop run by Bud and his wife Kaye. Later, it
was known as Tingley Cafe; and was owned by various people until the cafe' was closed in March of 2007. Through an inheritance from Frank Richards, his son Doyle and Connie Richards received
the cafe' in April, 2007. It had always been important to Frank to provide services such as a restaurarnt in the small town of Tingley. Doyle and Connie decided to continue Frank's legacy After extensive remodeling the cafe' reopened the June 27, 2007 was The Wagon Wheel Cafe'. Connie ran the restaurant until October of 2012 when she decided to retire so she could spent more of her time with family and friends.
Donetta Phelps was hired October of 2-12 to run the cafe' for the Richards. In January of 2013, Jeremy and Donetta Phelps purchased the restaurant and continue to provide service to Tingley. The Wagon Wheel Cafe' is open 364 days of the year, closed on December 25.
Hours are Monday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Open Monday night from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Open Tuesday through Satureday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Open for lunch buffet only on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
