John W. TOWNSELY, was born December 4, 1846, and died May 2, 1918. Sarah J. TOWNSLEY was born May 2, 1855, and died
January 28, 1937. John and Sarah were Ringgold County pioneers, settling in the county in 1877. They were interred at
Mount Zion Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa.
