Perry Dixon MALOY, son of David MALOY (1819-1885) and Elva Jane (LITTLE) MALOY (1837-1910) was born June 1, 1868, Redding, Ringgold County, Iowa, and died at the age of 45 on April 20, 1914, El Dorado Springs, Cedar County, Missouri. He was interred at Maloy Cemetery, Maloy, Ringgold County, Iowa.

Cynthia W. (CRAIG) MALOY, was born in 1869, and died of pneumonia at the age of 31 on May 6, 1900, Redding, Ringgold County, Iowa. Cynthia was interred at Forrest Home Cemetery [formerly known as Rooster Bend] Cemetery near Redding, Iowa.

Perry and Cynthia were the parents of five children:
