RINGGOLD COUNTY PROGRESS EDITION

Bringing you the news of Ringgold County for 118 years.

 

  JACK R. TERRY, owner and publisher, heads up the commercial printing deparment and serves as office manager of Printcraft, Inc., at Lamoni, the central printing plant.

 

 

 

 

  ALAN SMITH, managing editor, has a full weekly schedule with news and photography assignments as well as handling advertising. This progress edition is his creation.

 

 

 

 

  MARION HENDERSON, news editor, handles general assignment news stories, as well as waiting on office customers.

 

 

 

 

 

  SANDRA BRECKENBRIDGE, of Tingley, is responsible for composition and paste-up of advertising and job work.

 

 

 

  MARGARET NEEDHAM serves as editor of the Herald of Health, monthly magazine, as well as handling mailing list corrections.

 

 

 

 

 

  MRS. FRANKLIN SPURRIER is in charge of the popular news of yesterday. Here she goes through one of the volumes to get the main items.

 

 

 

 

 

  HELEN TERRY lays out and pastes up pages, along with her bookkeeping and mailing duties.

 

 

 

 

  DORIS RULE operates the news composing terminal, a late addition to the Record-News equipment. She also assists with mailing and bindry work.

 

 

 

  LINDA JOHNSON, MACHS senior, works part-time at a variety of duties under a work-study program through the school commercial department.
