MAXINE McNUTT CROKER ~ DEAN McNUTT

Maxine McNUTT CROKER and her brother Dean both live at Marshalltown.

Maxine graduated from Maloy High School in 1940. She later attended Central Iowa Business College at Marshalltown and has been employed there as a secretary since 1950.

Her husband, John CROKER, who died in 1970, was a sales manager for the Marshalltown Coca Cola Company. They had two children. Their son Michael graduated from UNI and is area supervisor for the Marshalltown office of the Second Judicial District of the Department of Correctional Services. Daughter Margaret Anne received an M.A. in speech pathology from Northeast Missouri State University. She is married and has daughters Samantha (7) and Rebecca (4) and a son John (2).

Dean McNUTT finished eighth grade at Maloy and served in the South Pacific during World War II. He received the Silver Star and the Purple Heart. He farmed in southern Illinois and is now retired. He and his wife have one daughter, Nancy.
