Present Charter This Evening to Kellerton Lions
Thirty-five Members In New Service Club At Kellerton
Charter night for the newly organized Lions Club at Kellerton will be held this (Thursday) evening at the American Legion
Hall in Kellerton. The charter will be presented to the club of 35 members by Steve A. BROOKS, district governor.
Acceptance will be by Dr. Wm. L. CHANEY, the club's first president. Organization of the Kellerton club is sponsored by
the Mount Ayr Lions Club, whose president, Herman FENNEMA, and past president, Chas. J. LESAN, will appear on the charter
night program. Other officers serving with Dr. CHANEY are Harold HARVEY, first vice-president; Chester GIBSON, second
vice-president; Wallace TEALE, third vice-president; Phil TERRY, secretary and treasurer; Jamie MEADOWS, Lion tamer,
and Elmer GOLDNER, tail twister. Directors are Howard POLLARD, Wallace FARMER, Ora FUGATE and Harold Davenport.

Song, America. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Invocation -- Rev. W. T. MILLER. Dinner by the American Legion

Introduction of Guests -- Toastmaster. Charter Presentation -- Steve A. BROOKS. Acceptance of Charter -- Dr. Wm. L.
CHANEY. Presentation of Gifts -- Herman FENNEMA, president of Mount Ayr Lions Club. Address -- Wm. G. YOUNG.
