Kellerton bank branch to close
Great Western Bank, which has a branch location in Mount Ayr, has announced that it will be closing its branch in
Kellerton on Friday, April 27. The decision was made from acombination of factors including profitability, demographics,
competition and branch location, according to bank officials.The branch is one of 11 branches that are closing across
the Great Western Bank footprint for similar reasons. Great Western Bank has taken care to facilitate the smooth
transfer of customer accounts to the best of their ability. They offer a variety of remote banking services to
accommodate customers who are notable to make frequent visits to another area branch.Great Western Bank also continues
to participate in the MoneyPass ATM Network, which currently has more than 22,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide.
