William and Linnabell have sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1983.

NOTE: Linnabell Virginia OSHEL, daughter of John H. and Elsie OSHEL, was born near Orient, Iowa on February 4, 1910, and married William "Bill" TRIDLE on February 15, 1933, at Grant City, Missouri. William Eugene "Bill" TRIDLE, Sr. was born in 1902, and passed away in May of 1987. Linnabell passed away in October of 1999. They were interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Nevinville, Adams County, Iowa.
