Raymond was co-owner of the BARKER and WEBB furniture store in Mount Ayr for many years. He later worked as a salesman for Mount Ayr implement until his death in 1961. He was married to Doris CULBERTSON and they were the parents of two daughters, Donna and Lora.

Donna married Bill JOHNSTON. They reside in Arizona and are the parents of two daughters. Lora married Darrel CAMPBELL and they are the parents of two daughters, also.

NOTE: Raymond Glen BARKER was born on May 4, 1916, and died on December 10, 1961. Doris Nina (CULBERTSON) BARKER was born on September 6, 1921, and died on March 19, 1975. They were interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr.
