The weekend began with 33 men golfing at the Mount Ayr Golf & Country Club and 15 ladies at Lenox, Saturday, June 27. They all ate together at Mount Ayr at noon. Steve and Jean JONES, Gary and Jean TAYLOR, J. K. and Shannon OLSON, Scott JONES, Todd JONES, Tim JONES and Steve TAYLOR golfed but were unable to attend Sunday. Many enjoyed karaoke at G & L Bar later that evening and Lynn RINEHART'S "special show."

Sunday, June 28, 2010, the annual TAYLOR reunion was held at the Diagonal community building. It looked like rain but the sun came out in the afternoon. There were 91 present to enjoy the food, pictures, picture-taking and visiting.

They had three births in the last year, two marriages and two deaths.

The youngest present was MaKel JONES. Alice Mae JOHNSTON and Edna JONES were the leaders. Floyd's family and Clifford's family both had 26 members present and all of Judy's family was present. They had some home-made ice cream, due to Jeremy, that went over very well.

Floyd's - Blair and Martina TAYLOR of Nevada; Scott and Nicky TAYLOR, Brittlyn and Duke of Waukee; Bill and Jenna TAYLOR, Mike and JeanAnn TAYLOR of Creston; Doug NEWTON of Elk Horn; Dick and Janis TAYLOR, Claire and Judy NEWTON, Jim and Patty NEWTON, Steve and Terri NEWTON, Ethan, Emily and Anna, Danielle and Jeremy GRACE of Diagonal; and Nolan and Stephanie NEWTON of Mount Ayr.
