Ringgold Reunion held

  • A Ringgold County Reunion was held in Texas Friday, February 5 at Ann's Restaurant in San Juan.

Those attending were Lloyd and Kay Drake from Tingley, Ron and Janis Loomis, Sally Woolums and Bill Lantz from Kellerton, Francis and Marilyn Pritchett, Daryl Wilson, Rose James, Lee and Shirley Brand and Twila Simons from Mount Ayr, Ken and Phyllis Robison from Prescott, Pat Koontz from Shannon City, Quentin and Rita Anderson from Ellston, Art and Carol Hays from Council Bluffs, Hiatt and Darlene Rice from Lenox, Lyle and Janet Hogue from Hatfield, MO, Bev McCord from Nixa, MO, Bessie Austin from Diagonal and Alan and Kay Oshel from Boliver, MO.

All were either from Ringgold County at one time or have interest there.

Lloyd and Kay Drake were the hosts this year again and did a good job. Alan and Kay Oshel will be hosts for next year's reunion. It will be held the first Friday in February 2017 at Ann's agian. All are welcome if you have any interest in Ringgold Co. Attendance was down this year so we need all of you that can come.

Food was very good and every one had a good time visiting and getting reacquainted.
