Gysbert and Weeda Reunion

The family of Gysbert and Mabel WEEDA held their annual reunion Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the Tingley Community Hall in Tingley.

Everyone enjoyed the company and delicious food. There were 25 people present and all were able to visit and share happenings of the last year.

Those enjoying the day were: Dean and Lucy GARLAND, THeola WEEDA, Danny and Coletta WEEDA, Dana WEEDA and Josh ANDERSON, Sterling, Julie and Hannah WEEDA, Kyle and Cinnamon WULF, Oakel PETTINGER and Jordan KRALIK, Karen PETTINGER, Dennis, Paula and Keith GARLAND, Sue VIVONE, Jerry and Debbie GARLAND, Debbie JENSEN, Abby and Elsie JENSEN and Phyllis WEEDA.

A business meeting was also hed at the table. Debbie JENSEN was nominated president by Jerry GARLAND and seconded by Danny WEEDA. A vote was taken and it was official; Debbie graldy accepted. Sue VIVONE was nominated secretary by Jerry GARLAND and seconded by Phyllis WEEDA and then elected.

A prize was given to the person who came the farthest (Cinnamon WULF), the person who was the youngest (Elsie JENSEN) and the oldest person at the reunion (Dean GARLAND).

It was voted on and decided that the next reunion would be held on the third Sunday of July, which would be July 16, 2006, at the Tingley Community Hall.
