CANNON FAMILY REUNION
On August 8, 2010, sixty-seven descendants of Roy and Grace CANNON, along with two guests, enjoyed a family reunion and
potluck dinner at Sunrise Park in Ankeny. A short business meeting followed. Rodney CLOUD and Roxie TRULLINGER of
Mount Ayr were the honored elders of the family. Jasmine BELLO-CALLES of San Diego, CA traveled the greatest distance to
attend. The youngest family member in attendance was Marie BRAND, daughter of Scott and April BRAND of Audubon.
Newest arrivals to the family were Weston Wayne ADAMS, son of Austin and Courtney ADAMS of Mount Ayr, born December 16, 2009;
and Layla Marie ABDALLA, daughter of Khaled and Rhonda ABDALLA of Des Moines, born August 1, 2010. Marriages that were
recorded ths year were Mark and Deepti TRULLINGER of Centerville on January 31, 2010; Joey and Darcy BELTRAN of Hickory,
NC on June 20, 2010; and Jessi and Hillary SMITH of Mount Ayr on August 7, 2010. Family members traveled from various
locations in Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, California and Michigan to attend the reunion. Sindra JENSON and Susan
JACOBSEN will be in charge of the arrangements for the 2011 reunion.
