Two new churches serving the Mount Ayr area have been completed recently and are hosting services. The Mount Ayr Assembly of God is working on finishing touches on its new church home south of Highway 2 in the west part of Mount Ayr. The Lighthouse, a non-denominational church, will be holding grand opening services this week at its location west of Mount Ayr along Highway 2.
