REV. DAVID C. WILSON
Rev. David C. WILSON was born in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, on September 8, 1832, the son of
Samuel and Elizabeth (WILKINS) WILSON. He attended the Allegheny seminary and was licensed by the Presbytery of
Conemaugh in September of 1862, and ordained in June of 1863. Rev. WILSON pastored at Amity, Iowa, from 1863 to
1865; St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin in 1866; pastored at Clarinda, Iowa, from 1866 to 1867; and was the United
Presbyterian minister of Tingley, Iowa, accepting that position in 1868. Rev. David C. WILSON was married on
June 17, 1968 to Abbie, the daughter of James THORNE of Clokeyville, Pennsylvania.
