H. ROGERS is a native of Tennessee. His residence in Iowa dates from 1850 in which year he located in Van Buren county.
He came to Ringgold county in 1868, locating on a farm two miles north of Kellerton. In 1874 he removed to a farm five
miles east of Mt. Ayr, where he lived until 1883. He then came to Mt. Ayr and embarked in the furniture business, continuing
therein ever since. He carries a full line of furniture and enjoys a large patronage. Both Mr. and Mrs. ROGERS are
memebers of the Methodist church. NOTE: Huston ROGERS was born in 1839, and died December 4, 1919.
He was interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr.
