December 1, 2016: Updated the Cass County Genealogical Society page to add the Winter 2016 newsletter. Also added additional Harris family photos (Harris, Conine, Butler) contributed by Carl Malone.

November 27, 2016: Added transcriptions of Breckenridge, Brighton and Edna Townships from the 1860 Federal Census. Also added Albert T. Harris Family Bible Records, contributed by Carl Malone.

November 20, 2016: Added transcription of The Crooked Creek Gang 1883 newspaper article contributed by Kathy Cardoza.

October 16, 2016: Added transcriptions of Blocks 20-21 of Evergreen Cemetery contributed by Carolyn DeLay and the Cass County Genealogical Society.

October 5, 2016: Added transcription of one additional World War I news clipping (3/15/1918), listing Cass County soldiers killed/wounded, contributed by Eileen Reed.

October 4, 2016: Added transcriptions of eight World War I news clippings regarding Atlantic area soldiers killed/wounded contributed by Eileen Reed. Also added transcription of Block 22 of Evergreen Cemetery.

May 12, 2016: Added a short history of early bottling in the Atlantic area, including a well researched and documented paper by Carl Malone. Many thanks to Carl for this wonderful contribution! Carl's paper traces bottling history back to 1875, with the arrival of the Durr and Saxe families in Atlantic.

May 8, 2016: Added photo of the Bernard Malone family, and links to the obituaries for Bernard's parents.

April 5, 2016: Updated the Cemetery Main Index page to use Google Maps for cemetery locations ("View Map" links).

March 21, 2016: Added transcription for Cumberland from the 1892 Farmers Directory. All townships from the 1892 Farmers Directory have been completely transcribed.

March 19, 2016: Added transcription for Atlantic from the 1892 Farmers Directory.

March 18, 2016: Added transcription for Wiota from the 1892 Farmers Directory.

March 15, 2016: Added transcriptions for Lewis and Lyman from the 1892 Farmers Directory.

March 13, 2016: Added complete transcriptions of the Patrons by Township section of the 1875 Andreas Atlas for all townships. All Cass County sections of the Andreas Atlas are now fully transcribed.

March 9, 2016: Added transcriptions of resident/landowners names for all townships from the 1875 Andreas Atlas map of Cass County. The map itself has long been available on this site, but now the resident/landowner names printed on the map will be found by the search engine. The remainder of the Patrons by Township section will be coming soon!!

March 8, 2016: Added 1875 Cass County Map, Oliver Mills portrait and the Cass County Patrons Misc. and Too Lates from the 1875 Andreas Atlas. Only one Cass County section of the atlas remains to be transcribed - Cass County Patrons by Township. Images of this remaining section have already been added, and a complete transcription will be coming soon!

March 7, 2016: Added transcriptions for Lorah, Marne and Massena from the 1892 Farmers Directory.

March 6, 2016: Added original images of all Cass County pages from the 1892 Farmers Directory, and transcriptions for Galion, Griswold, and Reno post offices, as well as parties living in Cass county and receiving their mail in an adjoining county. Additional post offices coming soon!

February 29, 2016: Updated the Cass County Genealogical Society page to add the Spring 2016 newsletter. Also added notice regarding the current Rootsweb service outage, which began last Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 24). Rootsweb mail lists and genealogy/family history sites hosted by Rootsweb remain unavailable. Check www.rootsweb.ancestry.com for updates.

February 26, 2016: Added 3 additional vintage postcard photos of Atlantic railroad depot and yards, a vintage postcard photo of Sunnyside Park and Camp Swimming Pool, a postcard photo of Devonshire Tourist Camp, and one additional vintage postcard photo of Atlantic Golf and Country Club.

February 24, 2016: Updated the CCGS Index to the News Clipping Scrapbooks of Birthdays, Family Reunions, Weddings and Anniversaries with all 2015 additions. Many thanks to the Cass County Genealogical Society! Also added a vintage photo postcard, Wagon Bridge over Turkey Creek, Anita, and a studio photo of Mrs. Boyle.
