William A. Canfield (Sep 23, 1840 - Oct 31, 1909), enlisted Sept. 1861, private Co. A, 19th U.S. Infty. Discharged August 1865 from Co. C, 155 Ind. Vol. Infty. Served three years and eleven months. Died At Lake City, Iowa, Oct 31, 1909.

Gifford Dudley Davis (Apr 6, 1842 – Nov 1, 1908), enlisted Sept. 18, 1861, private Co. D, 37th Reg. Ind. Vol. Infty. Was wounded at the battle of Buzzard’s Roost and at Kenesaw Mt. Discharged Oct 27, 1864. Died at Lake City, Iowa, Nov 1908.
William C. Dehart (age 91, 1831 - March 9, 1912), was a confederate soldier. He resided in the vicinity of Lake City for a number of years. He was our neighbor and friend and enjoyed marching and associating with the G.A.R. men. Died March 9, 1912 at Lake City.
Calvin H. Dudley (1842 – Feb 12, 1907), served in naval service upon steam frigate, Colorado. Discharged June 30, 1862, at Kittery, Maine. Died Feb. 12, 1907.
Benjamin F. Dwire (Mar 15, 1844 – July 4, 1893), private Co. K, 9th Ind. Infty. Died July 4, 1893.

The grave of Captain Tilman P. Gregg (Oct 29, 1827 – Mar 3, 1901), buried at Center Cemetery, is also decorated every year by a delegate from the G. A. R. Enlisted as private Co. B, 3rd Iowa Infty, 1861. Discharged as Captain, Co. B, Sept. 1862 on account of disability. Died March 3, 1901.
