Check the 1930 plat map of Davis County at URL below ("Davis County plat map" and select Salt Creek Township). It shows Laddsdale in the northeast corner of Davis County in Salt Creek Township on the Wapello County line. The Laddsdale station is across the county line in Washington Township, Wapello County. The town went out of existence in 1917 and there likely are no signs of a town there anymore, even foundations. There is a New Laddsdale Woodland Retreat by the Eldon State Game Area (also in Davis County even though Eldon is across the line in Wapello County). There is a Sioc Cemetery nearby which may be the old Laddsdale Cemetery but with a new name. It also may be that the old Laddsdale Cemetery has been plowed under as have several old, small cemeteries in the state.
