Ladsdale must be a ghost town. Looking at old newspapers, I found an article from a paper from Arkansas from March 26, 1897 that says "Ladsdale is a mining town in Wapello County on the Wapello and Davis County Line. The latest mention of the town was from a Fairfield, IA newspaper from 1917.
I didn't check the Davis Co records.
Not much help I know but maybe it will point towards the right direction.
