The Fred and Laura in Jo Daviies County Illinois in 1940 with a son Charles are most likely the same Fred and Laura in Van Buren County enumerated in the 1925 Iowa State Census. Where Fred W. Jr was, I can't say. But I bet they are connected. Laura apparently was a HELWIG. There are still HELWIGs in Van Buren County.
