Hello Dick,

Thank you very much for your quick answer.
Indeed I think that this might my the people I am looking for, because the dates are
matching very close and Gonners says that Charles SCHROEDER from Syr settled in Otter
Creek.

Charles SCHROEDER was born May 8,1837 in Syr (Surre) and Marguerithe SCHMIT
was born Jan, 16,1839. The daughter Anne Marie was born March 25,1863i Tintange
(Belgium), just some miles from Syr (my hometown).
For the moment I have no other children born here in Luxembourg.

John aged 40 may be his brother born Feb 8, 1830.

I have been to the Otter Creek cemetary this fall, but I did not see any Schroeder
tombstones. Maybe that there are SHRADERS ?
I will come back to Iowa this May, together with a group of some 14 people from here. We
will stay in Saint Donatus, so if you are living in the area, may be we could meet.

Do you have any other informations about Charles SCHROEDER ?
