Ry., in Calhoun county, 12 miles s. w. of Rockwell city, the judicial seat, 30 s. w. of Fort Dodge, and 75 n. w. of Des Moines. It contains Baptist, Christian, Methodist, Presbyterian and United Brethren churches, excellent schools, 3 banks, brick and tile works, grain elevators, feed mill, etc. Three weekly newspapers—Blade, Graphic and News—are published.
