Joseph E. Green

Does anyone know what happened to or where is Joseph E. Green who helped found Jones County? He lived in the Bowens Prairie area during the 1840's and possibly married Paulina Seffield there in 1839? His wife is shown head of house by 1852 Richland census and 1856 says she was widowed. Paulina was born c.1813 in NY.
