Audit Reports

2008 (word doc)

Federal Taxes Filed

Note: We were not required to file federal taxes until 2007 because we did not have enough funds.
Starting in 2007 all tax exempt organizations were required to file Form 990-N or lose their tax exempt status. This is done on-line.

Charter Donors: "Friends of IAGenWeb"
IAGenWeb volunteers responsible for launching IAGenWeb as an independent project.

1. Properties/Assets:
This statement reflects the current cash position of the "Friends of IAGenWeb".  This report does not provide an asset value for (1) the collection of scripts* and (2) the domain names** now owned by all IAGenWeb Project members in common.  Values added by labor, time, talent and love are considered gifts to the IAGenWeb Project. The intangible asset value of our collection varies from member to member.  Due to licensing agreements none of what we have built can be sold to regain cash.  Therefore, for purposes of correct accounting practices, the asset value of our commonly held properties, although invaluable to us, must be calculated at zero dollars.  -- Loren Toomsen
