Arch back in place at MAC elementary
Efforts have been made to restore many of the old symbols of the Mount Ayr Community school district following new
construction at the MAC elementary school. Rocks presented by various classes have been placed in one planting area.
The latest project is to replace the arch that was in place for years when the elementary school site housed the high
school facilities as well. The arch has been placed over the sidewalk on the east side of the building. This is
one of a number of summer projects at the schools.
