Author signs book at Mount Ayr Library

Cowert.jpg

A new children’s book, written by the sister of a Redding woman, has recently been published and author Sami COWSERT of Clinton, MO was in Mount Ayr at the public library last week to sign copies. “Tammi and Her Dragon” is written by COWSERT, who is the sister of Colleen KELLY and sister-in-law of Tom KELLY of Redding. The book is a collection of children’s short stories telling the adventures of Tammi and her friend, the magical dragon Winston. The book is a compilation of 10 short stories COWSERT wrote while raising her own daughter. Whenever her daughter would encounter a problem, COWSERT would write another story to help her learn how to handle the problems of everyday life.
