After 17 THOMAS family concerts over 20 years, a Mount Ayr tradition came to a close last Wednesday night when Jane
THOMAS, son Sean THOMAS and daughter Angie THOMAS prsented their final concert at the First Christian Church in Mount
Ayr. All kinds of Christmas music was shared remembering music presented over the years. Sean will be going to Germany in
January to continue study there toward his goal of being an opera singers. Angie is an art graduate from Culver-Stockton
College.
Shelly Renae TAYLOR of Lenexa, KS and Wayne Edwin WHITING of Lenexa exchanged wedding vows Saturday, Oct. 2, 1993 at
4:30 p.m. ceremony at the United Methodist Church in Mount Ayr. Parents of the couple are Steve and Cheryl TAYLOR of
Mount Ayr and Robert and Dixie KELSHEIMER of Bentonville, AR and Ed WHITING of Des Moines.
The 40th wedding anniversary open house potluck for Lee and Sheryl KEENAN of Maloy will be held Jan. 2 at the Erin Go Bragh hall
in Maloy.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend an open house Jan. 9 honoring Mr. and Mrs. John CAMPBELL of rural Mount Ayr
on their 25th anniversary.
Gayland and Debbie RISSER of Mount Ayr are the parents of a son, Jeffrey Dean RISSER, who was born Dec. 18, 1993.
