Improvements have been made recently at the ice skating pond at Fife's Grove Park, according to Eldon MAIN, chairman of
the Mount Ayr Park Board. A four-inch pipe line has been installed between the pond in the grove and the skating one,
which will make it possible to be much more effective than pumping the water in as was done last winter. Additional
lighting is planned and with the added improvements the rink should afford pleasure to everyone, young or old, who enjoys
skating. Members of the park board are Mr. MAIN, Mrs. George IRVING and Bill FRENCH.
A "Sell-A-Bration" will be held Tuesday, October 24, at the Cross Garage and Auto Supply
