Sixty-nine members of the Mount Ayr Community high school class of 1977 will receive diplomas at commencement exercises
May 24 in the high school gym. Speaker will be Keith KIRKPATRICK, farm director of radio station WHO in Des Moines.

Mrs. Irvan (Leola) DOLECHECK was in Omaha, NE on May 5 as a guest of the Women's Omaha Chamber of Commerce's
annual recognition day and honored as Ringgold County Rural Homemaker.
Curt BRABY and Mike EASON are the Mount Ayr Raider track members who qualified for the state class B track meet
scheduled for Drake Stadium, Des Moines. BRABY won the discus with a toss of 141'7 1/1" and EASON finished
second in the 880-yard run in 2:04.29 to qualify.
Movies playing during June at the Princess Theatre in Mount Ayr are "Carrie," "Bugsy Malone," "Young Frankenstein,"
and "King Kong."
