PFC ROBERT ALLEN SPENCE
1925-1944
PFC Robert Allen SPENCE, son of Clarence William and Leola Mae (STEPHENSON) SPENCE, Mount Ayr, Iowa, was born on August 3, 1925. He enlisted on
October 15, 1943 at Camp Dodge, Des Moines, Iowa with the U.S.
Army during World War II. PFC SPENCE was killed in
battle, Belgium, December 1, 1944. He was nineteen years old. Interment was made at
Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Iowa.
