CIVIL WAR REUNION
Daniel McFarland ANDERSON 1st row at far right, and his brother,
Henry Rufus ANDERSON, back row, 2nd from the left

Rufus Henry ANDERSON, son of James Bowen ANDERSON (1816-1891) and Elizabeth (McCOY) ANDERSON (1823-1913), was born March 30, 1846, Marion Twp., Washington County, Iowa. Rufus served during the Civil War in Company F of the 11th Reg. Iowa Volunteer Infantry. He married Sarah Elizabeth ABBOTT who was born January 8, 1852 at Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana. Sarah died December 8, 1928, McDonald, Missouri. Rufus died at age 43 on May 14, 1889, Tingley, Ringgold County, Iowa. Rufus and Sarah were the parents of six children:

1) Grace ANDERSON
2) Loud ANDERSON
3) Estella Lydia ANDERSON
    born November 1873, IA; died January 11, 1940, Des Moines IA
4) Cora ANDERSON, born circa 1876, IA
5) Omer ANDERSON, born circa 1879, IA
6) Lloyd Burr ANDERSON, born 1882, IA; died 1949

Daniel McFarland ANDERSON, brother of Rufus Henry, was born in Marion Twp. of Washington County, Iowa, and died September 29, 1916, San Bernardinao County, California. He married Tirzah Meek LOGAN, born January 14 1844, the daughter of John D. LOGAN (1819-1901) and Mary Ann (?) LOGAN (1818 - 1846). Tirzah died in San Bernardino, California, on May 16, 1916. Prior to moving to California, Daniel and his family resided in Homer, Missouri. Daniel and Tirzah were the parents of 3 children:

1) Junius Wayne ANDERSON
2) Frank Logan ANDERSON
     born August 23, 1874, KS; died April 16, 1961, Amoret MO
3) Maude (ANDERSON) SALISBURY
     born 1882; died April 4, 1929, Los Angeles CA
