Lewis Burgess IMUS was born January 6, 1851 in Illinois, and died at the age of 62 years
in Salem, Marion County, Oregon, on December 27, 1913. Lewis married April 18, 1875 in Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa to Sarah Rebecca GRAY.
Sarah Rebecca (GRAY) was born September 28, 1852, Holmes, Holmes County, Ohio, the daughters
of George Ketchum GRAY (1822, PA - 1874, MO) and Charlotte M. (TUTTLE) GRAY (1823, NY - 1887, MO). She died
at the age of 74 in November of 1936, Benicia, Solona County, California.
Lewis and Sarah were the parents of nine children:

2) Lora Maud IMUS, born 1877, Ringgold Co. IA
3) Claude E. IMUS, born December 23, 1878, Ringgold Co. IA; died January 18, 1948, CA
4) Clyde Albert IMUS, born August 5, 1880, Ringgold Co. IA
5) Clint IMUS, born February 9, 1882, Ringgold Co. IA
6) Clifford Lewis IMUS, born November 5, 1883, Ringgold Co. IA; died May 17, 1950, CA
7) Lena Josephine (IMUS) NEWLAND, born October 30, 1885, Ringgold Co. IA
8) Nona Nora (IMUS) COOK, born July 18, 1889, Ringgold Co. IA; died 1977, CA
9) Florence Lolo "Flo" (IMUS) NOEL, born March 10, 1893, Ringgold Co. IA
