Greetings!!  My name is Karen De Groote-Johnson and I am your new Pocahontas County Coordinator.  You may have seen my name at the neighboring Humboldt County GenWeb and indeed my ancestors inhabited not only Humboldt but Pocahontas as well!  I intend on reworking this site to make it easier to navigate but in the meantime, please drop me a line if you need any assistance with your Pocahontas research or if you have any bits of history to share!
